What I Charge

I am a private-pay provider, meaning I do not accept insurance for my services. The price of my services range from $200 – $300.
I require my clients to keep a credit card on file, but I’ll only charge your card if services are provided.
Your information will be stored on my HIPPA-compliant platform.

Benefits You Can Expect By Choosing A Private-Pay Provider

No clinical diagnosis on your permanent health record.
A requirement of all third-party insurance providers that can create problems for some individuals, especially if your job requires any security-level clearance.

No compromise on your quality of care.
By removing the third-party insurance company from the relationship, it helps me focus on giving you unrestricted and individualized care without the burden of being controlled by their policies.

Eliminates a lot of added paperwork.
Third-party insurance companies generate a lot of paperwork and even then they can reject your claim for services. With my practice you get to choose what works best for you.

The bottom line is this, your insurance company does not know what you’re going through, how to treat you, or what’s best for you, only you know that. With my practice you get to decide how you want to proceed.

No, I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance for treatment. Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please reach out to your insurance company before booking to receive a better understanding of how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept debit, credit or HSA cards. Payment is processed at the time of service.

I also accept Loveland Vouchers. Click below to learn more about the Loveland Foundation.

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Before your appointment, you’ll receive a reminder email and/or reminder text message, ensuring you have adequate time to reschedule your appointment if necessary. Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. Additionally, I typically have a waitlist for my services; canceling with enough advanced notice allows individuals who are in need to receive services.

What are your expectations of me?

I value transparency and authenticity. Show up as you are. There is no need to mask anything. This may not come naturally to you at first, but we will get there together. The clients who have most benefited from my services appreciate having a safe space to be vulnerable; they are committed to the work and view therapy as a necessary investment to create the life they desire.

How long does it take for therapy to work?

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a perfect answer to this question. Therapy is a beautiful experience that is uniquely catered to each individual’s needs. The length of your experience will vary depending on your goals, your commitment to the work and the unique circumstances that led you to seek services.

How long is a session? How often should we meet?

Your initial session will be 60 minutes. This gives us enough time to review your paperwork, identify your goals and discuss how we can work together. For Individuals, all subsequent sessions will be 50 minutes in length. You do have the option to upgrade to a 60-minute session or 75-minute session if you believe we will need more time. For Couples, a 60-minute session is recommended. You also have the option to schedule a 75-minute session.

The frequency of our sessions typically depends on the intensity of your needs. The more intense = the more frequent and vice versa. I recommend clients initially schedule once a week or every other week. If we wait any longer than this, we risk spending our time playing catch up as opposed to keeping the momentum towards achieving your goals. As you progress through your work, we will begin tapering off our sessions accordingly (every 2 weeks to once a month, etc).

Where are you located?

My practice is 100% online. I meet with all of my clients virtually. I do not have plans to move my practice in-person any time soon. I understand if doing therapy virtually seems a bit strange. I felt this way at first too! Now, I absolutely love seeing my clients virtually and find that I am able to build strong and deep connections with them similar to in-person. If this is your only reservation about booking with me, let’s chat about this a bit- click below to schedule a 20-minute consultation. I am happy to address all of your questions and concerns regarding virtual therapy.

What is the purpose of the 20-minute consultation?

Finding a therapist is hard. It can be frustrating to spend hours, days and months searching for a counselor, only to end up with someone who may not be a good fit. During our 20-minute consultation, we will have an informal conversation about your needs + my experience. In short, we’ll see if we are a good match for each other. The last thing I want to do is waste your time and mine, so I will be completely transparent. I have a decent amount of therapists in my professional network, so if I’m not a good fit, I’ll do my best to connect you with someone who is! You’ve come this far, don’t stop now!
